What is Proud-Aid?
Proud-Aid is a distinctive formulation to aid in the prevention and treatment of Proud-flesh
It also aids in the treatment of scratches, wire cuts, mud fever, skin irritations and other skin disorders in horses.
Proud-Aid is a smooth textured paste that is easy to apply and is non irritant to the horse.
It helps protect from gross contamination and invasive dirt from entering the wound. Proud-Aid dries rapidly, stays in place and can be used without bandaging.

Miss Taboo 26-3-2012 all healed using Proud-aid. Good hair coverage and all within 1 Month.
The wound was originally very raw and required good woundcare.

Good Woundcare helps prevent Proudflesh
“Miss Taboo” one month old, tried to run thru a fence after being startled.
The wound was gentley hosed down & patted dry, ready for the 1st application of Proud-Aid. Proud-aid will aid in giving the wound a protective covering from flies,dirt & dust. Proud-Aid is great for areas that are hard to bandage.
The wound is very raw and open. Muscle damage is evident. Needs a wash with a wound cleanze or an anti-bacterial solution. Similar to the process discussed in Woundcare needed for Proudflesh wound

Redcliff fought with a fence on the 29th May. The cuts did not look too severe but on closer inspection the common digital extensor tendon had been sliced.
This type of leg wound will develop Proudflesh very Quickly if not treated.
The injury has been wrapped for 3 days
The wound has developed a small amount of Proudflesh, .
This picture was taken on the 8th June .10 days after the accident.
The wound always looks worse before it looks better.
Mickey pulls through with Proud-Aid
Mickey caught a nasty gash on his front fetlock. A wound that rapidly turned to proud flesh.

The application of Proud-Aid every three days for 6 weeks resulted in a fantastic result.

The regular application of PROUD-AID, kept the wound clean and helped to reduce infection and ultimately sped up Mickeys recovery.
